Optical Lenses are made from three materials plastic (resin), glass, and polycarbonate.
Plastic (resin) - Is the most popular because it's:
- Less expensive
- Lighter than glass
- Safe
Optional coatings that can be added to these lenses are:
- protection from scratches
- ultraviolet rays(UV) from the sun
- anti-reflective from glare
- tint (pick a color) for comfort and style
Polycarbonate lenses are the most impact resistant. They are also thinner and lighter than any other lens available. These lenses are harder to scratch and come with UV protection. Also they are highly recommended for children or anyone concerned with safety.

Specialty Lenses
High Index lenses are for people how have strong corrections, they are thinner and lighter than regular resin lenses; and will give you that look with comfort and style.
Light sensitive (transition ) lenses change with exposure to light, you know indoors light outdoors dark; they are available in gray or brown. (any questions, please call)
